Peter joined Medea Capital Partners in 2017 as a director based in New York and represents the firm in the Americas. He has over 30 years of metals and private equity experience, specialising in Latin America.

Prior to joining Medea, he worked as a managing director at Arete Capital Partners and before that was a director of Pacific Road Capital Management, where he was responsible for US and Middle East investors and successfully raised over US$700 million of funds. The role included advising on sovereign and political risk for investment opportunities in Latin America.

Peter was responsible for starting the Latin America investment banking activities for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, which became one of the firm’s most successful international ventures. Peter started his career as a metal trader for ACLI International.

 Peter is a US national and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Management from St Louis University. He was previously a director of Orvana Minerals Corporation, Minera S.A., ATIMM S.A., Kiska Metals Corporation, and Geoinformatics Corporation.
